L1 UNIT 6: FIRST PERSON NAVIGATION

Congratulations on completing Units 1-5! Up unitl now all of your games have been made using birds-eye view. It's like being a bird on top of pole looking down on the world below. This unit will teach you how to create a game in first-person view. First person view allows you to play the game through the eyes of the main character. Basically it puts you "IN" the game! To get started, click the green button below and read the First Person Navigation Notes. Then, have the All About First Person Navigation .pdf document available. Just click the blue button below to open the document. Lastly, watch the video tutorials in order to make your "First Person Navigation" game template. Once you have tested to make sure it is free of bugs and glitches be sure to save it so you can look back on it for reference. Now you can add first person navigation programming to Frogger, Pac-Man, Journey or any other game! Happy game making!

*PRO TIPS: Video tutorials are best viewed in "full screen" mode. You may need to click the "Watch on YouTube" icon in the bottom right of the video to view in full screen mode. Also, click the "Settings Gear" icon and select "720 HD" for the best resolution.
